Umngazi Hotel & Spa (formerly Umngazi River Bungalows & Spa) has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2016. Now in its sixth year, the award recognises hospitality businesses that have consistently earned strong traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the preceding 12 months, including accommodations, restaurants, and attractions worldwide.

• Criteria: Minimum overall bubble rating of 4 out of 5, a minimum number of reviews, and at least 12 months listed on TripAdvisor
• Basis: Quality, quantity, and recency of traveller reviews over a 12-month period
• Now in its: Sixth year

Why It Matters

TripAdvisor’s Vice President of Industry Marketing, Heather Leisman, noted that the certificate is designed to help travellers identify and book properties known for consistently good service, giving them more confidence in their booking decisions.
