Umngazi Hotel & Spa: Booking Changes in 2025

From the 1 Jan 2025, we will be updating our Booking and Cancellation Policies to bring them in line with industry norms. We’re confident these changes will help Umngazi continue to thrive and remain sustainable for many years to come.

Renewal Bookings
To secure your booking for the following year, a 50% deposit will now be required within 30 days after your stay. If the deposit isn’t received within the timeframe the booking will be released. The balance owing will be due 30 days prior to arrival.

Bookings – 31 days+
On confirmation of your reservation, a 50% deposit is required within 14 days to secure your booking. The balance owing will be due 30 days prior to arrival

Bookings – 30 days or less
On confirmation of your reservation, full payment is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel your booking, please take note of the following refund policy.
61+ days – Full Refund of Deposit less R100 administration free
31 – 60 days – 50% Refund of Deposit less R100 administration fee
30 days – No Refund of Deposit
