Barely days after the conclusion of the COP26 summit in Glasgow, we are faced with an unprecedented ecological catastrophe, the like of which our local coastline has never seen.
This potentially devastating survey, by means of seismic blasting, right at the heart of migratory whale routes, not to mention “the greatest shoal on earth – the sardine run”, all at a time when we are hearing promises and commitments from the world’s “leaders” to scale back our reliance on fossils fuels.
