A variety of accommodation options are available, all comfortably furnished with ensuite bathrooms and a gorgeous outside shower.  The hotel’s 9 suites all have exclusive access to the Emlonyeni Private Lounge and Pool Deck.  This space is perfect for those looking to escape and treat each other with undivided attention.  Breakfast is served each morning in the lounge with spectacular views over the river.  The tranquillity of the lounge, pool deck and plunge pool are available for you to enjoy at your leisure.

There are a variety of activities available at Umngazi, including guided hikes and walks, trail running and mountain-biking trails (please bring your own bike), kayaking, SUPboarding, fishing, river cruising, beach walks, rock pooling, a beautiful spa, a tennis court and an on-site gym.

Umngazi is a family resort and is therefore very busy in the school holiday periods.  We offer a variety of out of season Promotions and Packages in our quieter periods.  We do however need to be honest and advise that even though this is our out of season period, we still do enjoy the company of families with children that are not get governed by the school holiday calendar.
