All our rooms at Umngazi are thoughtfully appointed and comfortably furnished, each featuring an en-suite bathroom with our signature outdoor shower, as well as a patio where you can soak up the sights and sounds of the Wild Coast.

Every room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, and a safe for your convenience.

Guests staying in any of our suites have access to the Emlonyeni Private Lounge and Pool Deck — a tranquil retreat down near the river mouth, delighting with both river and ocean views.

Here, guests can enjoy breakfast served daily, along with mid-morning and afternoon tea, coffee, and treats. A dedicated waiter is on hand throughout the day to offer drinks service. Lunch and dinner are served in the hotel’s main dining area, either outdoors on the deck or inside the dining room.

Our 9 suites include: – Ntabeni Suites – Stylish and serene, offering uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. – Emlonyeni Suites – Perfect for those who love the calm of the river and a sense of seclusion. – Honeymoon Suites – The only units at Umngazi featuring fireplaces, adding an extra touch of warmth and romance for couples celebrating something special.
