Gooey Chocolate Brownie

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 250g Butter
  • 50g Chopped Walnuts Nut
  • 30g Cocoa Powder
  • 65g Cake Flour
  • 5ml Baking Powder
  • 360g Castor Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

METHOD:

  • Preheat Oven at 180 Degrees
  • Line a 24 cm Spring Form Pan
  • Melt chocolate and butter over a double boiler add nuts.
  • Sift the cocoa, cake flour, Baking powder and castor sugar all together and fold into the chocolate mixture, beat the eggs well and fold into the chocolate mixture, fold in chocolate chips pour into baking pan and bake for 25 minutes,
  • NB. Do not over bake the mixture, it should be spongy on the outside and gooey in the center of the pan, allow to cool cut and serve.

ADD A TWIST
Spread a can of caramel treat on the top of the brownies once you have removed it from the oven.
